Books &Pen Pal Letters

Standard

June 13, 2012

As many of you know, I am pen paling with my cousin’s first grade class in La Farge Wisconsin. Although her students are now out for summer vacation, we were able to get one exchange of letters completed with our students. I’m so glad the letters reached her because envelopes have a tendency to get eaten by the “postal monster” as I’ve begun to call it. Her class was also able to collect English story books that will hopefully be used in my English Learning Center. Here’s her blog post

I’m so excited to see what happens next! Here are my children writing their pen pal letters.

  1. On behalf of the Peace Corps’ Office of Third Goal and Returned Volunteer Services, thank you for sharing your experiences in Costa Rica through your blog. We love the pictures! We also enjoy the link to your cousin’s blog. It is truly great to be able to read about/observe both perspectives of the pen pal exchange! Keep up the good work!
